Maritz, Wolff was in partnership with Kingdom Holding Company, Prince Alaweed Bin Talal Bun Abdulaziz Al Saud who also owned a 50% interest in the company. At the time of purchase, Fairmont Hotels had seven hotels under management. Fairmont Hotels specializes in managing large luxury hotels with significant meeting facilities.
